Amanda Lane Evans is a ballet dancer and instructor from Copper Canyon, Texas. She trained with The Ballet Conservatory in Lewisville, Texas through high school and performed with Lakecities Ballet Theatre. Following graduation, she studied at The University of Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance, Magna Cum Laude. During her time in college, she performed with Oklahoma Festival Ballet and Contemporary Dance Oklahoma and also choreographed for The Young Choreographers Showcase from 2015-2018 where she was awarded the Miguel Terekhov Ballet Choreography Award. Currently, Amanda is based in Charleston, South Carolina where she dances with Palmetto City Ballet and Unbound Ballet Project. She teaches and choreographs at a number of local dance studios and also enjoys teaching yoga and barre. Her goal is to continue to foster love for the performing arts in diverse communities throughout her professional career and lifetime.
